Today I was reading the comments on the article "Opera: Apple, Ubuntu should include browser ballout screen too" and like always, everyone was commenting about how unsuccessful Opera is, hence the article. It really is and anyone that works on web development will know how good Opera is, but at the same time knows why it's not their main browser.
My hopes on the Android device
Sep 27, 2008
Right now I have an iPhone 1st gen and while it was a really good device at the begining, right now is really buggy and to be honest the lack of multitasking between applications or a decent notification system makes it an awesome phone with iPod capabilities, but not a computer. Not to mention the crappy apps you can get from the App Store.
In the other hand Android looks good, more like a computer than the iPhone. It reminds me the blackberry I used to have, connected to Gtalk and Twitter and a few other applications at the same time.

I recently bought a PC for two big reasons: Playing AoC which I didn't like much and for playing around with Mac OSX in a PC. I tried to choose my rig parts based on the list at the OSX86 Project. This is what I got:
- Motherboard: ASUS P5K-VM $114.95
- Ram: Corsair 1GB x 2 800Mhz $59.95
- Case: Cooler Master Elite 330 Chassis: $49.95
- CPU: Intel Coreā¢2 Duo Processor E4500 2.2GHz w/ 2MB Cache : $129.95
- Hard Drive: Hitachi 160GB Deskstar 7K160 SATA II $52.95
- Video Card: THE FAIL! nVidia EVGA 9600GT Superclocked $159.95
- DVD Drive: I had one.

It's just not worth the money and the plan for me. I already have a 1st gen iPhone ulocked using fido month-to-month plan and I want to keep using that. I need a data plan for sure, but first I want to try the new 2.0 firmware and AppStore. So, no. GPS is not vital for me.

Me and my girlfriend decided to take a look at the new Apple store in West Edmonton Mall but it was still closed. It will open tomorrow Saturday July 5th. Anyway... Here are some pics of this one-man line...
