I've always been one of those few persons who defend Windows Vista saying that it does have a bunch of very cool features and improvement over Windows XP. Even when you lose performance in general with Vista, new users will like it since it feels more secure and easy to use. Since the website launched (when I was a Windows user) I've been reading Paul Thurrott's winsupersite.com looking for reviews and news from mostly Windows products (I don't really care about the rest in the site). But today I've read one of the most funny paragraphs from that site:

"Internet Explorer 8 gets some huge compatibility improvements in the Beta build and picks up the Compatibility List feature that Microsoft plans to ship separately to XP, Vista, and Windows Server users via an IE 8 RC sometime soon. While improvements to Web rendering are welcome and needed, IE 8 still renders some pages incorrectly in this version (I'm looking at you, Gmail), but hopefully Web site owners will get serious about getting ready for the next IE and correct these issues."

He, as a website owner should perfectly know about the rendering issues from IE, and how they don't follow the standards and how even Microsoft was thinking on using Webkit for IE !!!. I hope Microsoft get serious on getting ready to render websites correctly on IE 8.
